Futurama Season 13 release date: When Matt Groening's un-cancelable sci-fi series returns to Hulu

Bender, Leela, Fry and the whole Futurama crew are back for season 13, baby!

Sure, all the best shows get canceled - sometimes, two or three times. But sometimes, the very best shows of all come back, and that includes Futurama. The exploits of Philip J. Fry (Billy West), Turanga Leela (Katey Sagal) and Bender B. Rodriguez (John DiMaggio) will soon continue to continue in Futurama season 13 on Hulu. So when can you expect to stream the fresh season for yourself?

The Futurama season 13 release date is September 15 on Hulu. Since the show moved to its new home on Hulu in 2023, a new season has been released each year around this time. However, unlike seasons 11 and 12, all ten episodes of the season will be released simultaneously. Perhaps this will clear your schedule up a bit, so you can catch some of the other exciting shows that will be released this fall. If you'd prefer to avoid binging, beginning on September 15, two episodes per week will air on FXX at 8 PM ET. Currently, there is no trailer available for the long-running show's thirteen season.

However, some of the storylines for Futurama season 13 have been teased. These include Planet Express doctor John Zoidberg (West) ascending to heaven and Fry confronting a romantic rival for Leela. Plus, the PlanEx crew tackles a volcano and Bender rampages out of control. And judging by the first-look photos released by Hulu, you can also expect the long-awaited return of the Robot Devil (Dan Castellaneta). As you've come to expect, the season will also feature the voice acting talents of Tress MacNeille, Lauren Tom, Maurice LaMarche, Phil LaMarr and David Herman.

Futurama season 13 will debut on Hulu on September 15.
