One of the most infamous, misunderstood and compelling characters of the superhero landscape, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) is enjoying some serious time in the spotlight this year. Not only will he be appearing in this summer's sure-to-be-blockbuster movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but he's also appearing in his own special on Disney+. So when can you expect the release date for The Punisher: One Last Kill to arrive?
The Punisher: One Last Kill release date is May 12th, 2026 on Disney+. This will be just a week after the second season of Daredevil: Born Again wraps up the previous week, on May 7th, 2026, so fans of street-level Marvel Cinematic Universe shenanigans will be eating well in the months to come. And of course, there are plenty of other TV release dates for you to keep in mind this spring and summer. Here's the official trailer for One Last Kill:
Featuring Bernthal in the role that he originated a decade ago in the second season of Netflix's Daredevil, One Last Kill promises to be a Marvel Television Special Presentation to die for. In addition to starring in the special, Bernthal will also serve as writer and executive producer. Also writing and directing is Reinaldo Marcus Green. The trailer seems to suggest Frank will be confronting some of his foundational trauma... but will he survive the experience? Assuming One Last Kill is set before Brand New Day, the answer is "yes, but at what cost?"
