The Paper season 1 release date: When The Office's documentary crew returns on Peacock

Set in the world of The Office, The Paper features a cast led by Domhnall Gleeson.

Still lamenting the loss of the beloved sitcom The Office? Well, NBC has good news for you. Another mockumentary sitcom set in the same world is coming your way this fall. In The Paper, the documentary crew from The Office finds a new subject in a Midwestern newspaper office. So, when can you expect the release date for The Paper season 1 on Peacock to arrive?

The Paper season 1 release date is September 4 on Peacock. The premiere will feature the release of four new episodes. After that, two new episodes a week will drop on Thursdays, through September 25. It's been over a decade since The Office concluded on May 16, 2013, so fans who are itching for their mockumentary fix will be eager to stream the ten-episode first season. And of course, there are a lot of other exciting shows coming out in the fall. Currently, there is no trailer available for The Paper season 1.

In The Paper, the documentary crew from The Office turns to a Midwestern newspaper office as a new subject. There, publisher Domhnall Gleeson hopes to revitalize the publication in an era where local papers are not doing too great. The series will feature at least one returning member of The Office cast, as Oscar Nuñez will be reprising the role of Oscar Martínez. The cast will also include Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young and Tim Key. And behind the camera, The Paper maintains The Office pedigree, as it is created, written and executive produced by original Office producer Greg Daniels, alongside Michael Koman.

Season 1 of The Paper debuts on September 4 on Peacock.
