To me, my X-Men '97 fans - the X-Mansion is on Airbnb

Superhost Jubilee has put together an iconic fan experience/getaway

This year, X-men fans got to return to their favorite animated show via the Disney+ reboot/sequel, X-men '97. But now, getaway gurus Airbnb have come up with a much more immersive way to experience Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters - they've just listed the X-Mansion.

Yes, you read that correctly. Superfans can now stay in a replica of the animated X-Mansion here in our 3D world, just by snagging a reservation from superhost Jubilee. According to the listing, fans will also get to participate in a number of ultra-cool activites on the property - which Jubilee describes like this:

  • I’ll lead you through new student orientation (don’t worry we’ll get to the fun stuff fast).
  • Enter Beast’s totally gnarly lab! It’s like a science playground where you’ll be able to power-up with mutant energy elixirs.
  • Take a class in the Danger Room, where some of our combat professors will teach you how to improve your fighting skills—you never know when you’ll have to fend off The Hellfire Club!
  • Head to the War Room to try on Cerebro, and find out your mutant superpower. Maybe you’ll be an Omega level mutant like Storm!
  • Before you leave, we’ll debrief you on your new powers AND you can snag your official diploma and class photo.
  • Oh, and beignets for breakfast (Gambit’s secret recipe) My fave!

The entire complex is painted to resemble 2D animation, reminding all guests exactly which version of the X-Men they're crashing with.

Airbnb's X-Mansion is part of the company's summer 2024 initiative called Icons, which will bring together all facets of entertainment into multiple stay-in experiences. Other Icons vacations include staying in the house form Disney/Pixar's Up, jamming in Doja Cat's living room, and kicking your feet up in the Ferrari Museum.

"This groundbreaking category," Airbnb said in a statement, "features extraordinary experiences hosted by the world’s greatest icons across music, film, art, sports, and beyond, offering unparalleled opportunities for fans to step into words that have only existed inside their imaginations – and all available only on Airbnb."

Book your stay at the X-Mansion with Airbnb here (reservations open May 1 at 1:30 PM PDT). And in the meantime, X-Men '97 is streaming on Disney+.
