Every year, cosplayers from around the world show off their creations at conventions - and the best of the best chase glory at the Cosplay Central Crown Championships. From Australia to South Africa, across Europe and of course the USA, master-level cosplayers head to their local participating conventions to compete for the chance to represent their regions and a round-trip ticket to the yearly finals - which take place at Chicago's C2E2 2024, and will be livestreamed for free here on Popverse.
This year's C2E2 2024 Cosplay Central Crown Championships not only included the last USA Semi-Final and the National Finals, but also the Global Finals in a decisive competition that crowned this year's Cosplay Central Crown Champion - which comes with prizes including a bespoke award, crafted by Hoku Props for ReedPop.
This year's judges came from the upper echelon of cosplay, with Dessi-Desu, Sameer Tikka Masala, and 2023 Global Finals winner Nerds Gone Wild Cosplay. The event itself willl be emceed by one of the biggest names in cosplay, Yaya Han - C2E2's cosplay guest of honor.
